Kyle's Vision

Committed to addressing Lewis County's needs with practical informed solutions.

Getting the government back to its business.

I prioritize policies and people over political parties and pandering. I reject political tribalism as detrimental to our democracy.

Government agents should separate personal views from official duties and simply remaining silent is sometimes the most fiscally responsible action.

Current County Commissioner Sean Swope was the final inspiration for me to run for office when in early 2026 he told me that my challenges of his positions had improved his own understandings and expressed an appreciation for my having helped him see how a leader's words have significant community impact.

Transparency, Accountability & Compliance

I champion rigorous accountability and transparency through ethical public safety standards, increased civilian review, and transparent discipline.

I am dedicated to fiscal responsibility, having personally conducted extensive citizen audits to curb waste and non-compliance as well as ensuring efficient, ethical, and lawful use of taxpayer funds by scrutinizing budgets, expenditures, and contracts.

Practical and informed stewardship

I strongly support ethical public safety, including first and last responders. I think it is essential to properly fund these vital community services to better address issues like more effective law enforcement coverage county wide.

The government's other primary duties are public infrastructure, including roadways, public access areas, walkable communities and public health workers. I support our public works, community development and public health and their vital roles in maintaining and improving our community infrastructure, including our roadways, parks, and community water and sewer systems, including the need for further development of them.

I’ll advocate for balanced, measured growth and modernization of county programs and facilities without sacrificing service or the real human interaction expected of government.

Animal Shelter Revitalization

Lewis County has dedicated funds and an existing site for a new or remodeled animal shelter. The current shelter has faced issues, including financial mismanagement, unresponsiveness, and poor local partnerships.

Lewis County should use these earmarked funds for their intended revitalization and rebuild community partnerships to create a more cohesive animal care ecosystem, restoring community pride and constituent support in this critical area.

Economic growth and small business support

With my personal history in small business ownership and my roots in rural tourism, I support small businesses, property rights and measured development to boost jobs and local prosperity. I hope to facilitate sustainable growth, not exponential growth, to ensure we don't pass the problems of rapid expansion on to the next generation.
